Under federal law, known as the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and chiropractic care is expected to cost.
Your Rights
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected costs of any non-emergency items or services.
- This includes costs related to chiropractic adjustments, wellness visits, therapeutic exercises, and other treatments we provide.
- You should receive your Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your scheduled service.
- If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
What to Expect
- The Good Faith Estimate will include a breakdown of the services recommended for your care plan and the estimated costs.
- Actual costs may vary if your treatment plan changes based on your health needs.
- This estimate is not a guarantee of final charges but serves as a guideline so you know what to expect.
Dispute Resolution
If your bill is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges:
- You may first contact us directly to review and discuss your bill.
- You can also start a formal dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS).
